Cycle to Alkmaar, the cheese capital of Holland, for a visit to the Cheese market on Waagplein-square. You will be thrown back to the Middle Ages and you can see with your own eyes how cheese was traded in days gone by. Every Friday morning and in July and August also on Tuesday evening.
The biking-route will lead you through the beautiful meadows and cozy inner city of Alkmaar.
